Who is the Kitty Cat Bandit?
The Kitty Cat Bandit was born at the Bonnaroo Music Festival in Manchester, Tennessee, on a hot summer day in June 2007. Before being reborn as a modern-day outlaw, KCB was formerly known simply as Dawn.
She enjoys animals, wildlife rehabilitation and rescue, owls, food, photography, writing, reading, “The X-Files,” bike riding, horror movies, banjos, birds, cooking, not wearing shoes, being in the woods, old cemeteries, camping, ghost hunting, and plans to start her first garden this year. She dreams of one day eating an entire bag of edamame for lunch and living in a cabin in the woods with her wildlife friends.
KCB began her vegan journey in January of 2008, and has been praising the benefits ever since. “I feel more focused and energized,” she said, adding that she lost 10 pounds rather quickly after adopting a vegan diet. She and her partner, Pecos Billy (formerly known as Ryan), have been creating their own delicious and beautiful vegan recipes for a few months, and now want to share them with YOU!
